Cat Evolution

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Cat Evolution (package name com.goethe47.catevolution, developed by Goethe47, "we", "us") handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

We do not operate our own backend servers. However, the app includes third-party SDKs that may collect and process information as described below.

2. Third-Party Services

ServicePurposePrivacy Policy
Unity DiagnosticsCrash, exception, ANR, diagnostic, and performance reporting used to identify stability and compatibility problemsUnity game player and app user privacy policy
Unity LevelPlay (mediation) / Unity AdsAd mediation and Unity Ads delivery: banner and interstitial advertising, measurement, frequency control, advertising diagnostics, security, and fraud preventionUnity game player and app user privacy policy
Google Play Games ServicesPlatform authentication and leaderboardsGoogle Privacy Policy

Advertising providers may use advertising and device data for ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention and, only for an adult who explicitly chooses it, personalized advertising. Google Play Games Services processes profile and leaderboard data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Neutral Age Screen and Ad Choices

Before any advertising SDK is initialized, Cat Evolution asks the player to select an age from 1 to 120. The selected number is used temporarily on the device to derive one of two advertising groups and is then cleared:

Ads may still be shown when personalization is declined. Limited data may still be processed for contextual ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, diagnostics, security, and fraud prevention. The in-game Ads & Privacy screen allows every player to open this policy, use the applicable sale/share opt-out, and manually recheck their age category. Protected players do not see controls that enable personalization.

For protected players, the app may request a new age check no more than once every 12 months, on a later normal launch. Adult players are not automatically asked again. The previously stored category remains in place until a valid new selection is confirmed.

If an age recheck crosses between the protected and adult groups, any previous personalized-ad choice is cleared. An adult must make a new advertising choice; an older choice never becomes active automatically. If advertising has already initialized when age or privacy settings change, new ad creation and loading stop. The saved settings are fully applied before SDK initialization on the next game launch.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This control is available through the in-app Ads & Privacy screen. Absence of an opt-out is not recorded as an affirmative permission to sell or share data.

You can also manage Android advertising controls through Settings → Google → All services → Ads. Available options may vary by Android version and device manufacturer.

4. Data Retention

The specific selected age is not retained. The derived age category, age-check completion timestamp, advertising choices, game progress, and settings remain locally on the device until they are reset, the app's storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Cat Evolution is configured not to participate in Android application backup and restore. Data processed by Unity Diagnostics, Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, and Google Play Games Services is retained and deleted according to their own policies linked above.

5. Children's and Protected Players' Privacy

Cat Evolution is configured as a mixed-audience app. It uses a neutral age screen before advertising starts. Players classified in the protected under-18 group receive restricted, non-personalized advertising and the app sends the advertising platform signals intended to prevent use of the Android advertising identifier and behavioral advertising for those users. Players whose age category is unknown receive no advertising because the advertising SDK is not initialized until the age screen is completed.

The under-18 threshold is a conservative product protection used by Cat Evolution. It does not state that every person aged 13–17 has the same legal status under every country's law.

6. Your Rights and Deleting Your Data

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Cat Evolution does not maintain user accounts or server-side gameplay profiles.

You may contact us using the email below if you need help identifying the appropriate provider.

7. Data Security

Cat Evolution does not transmit gameplay progress or the specific selected age to servers operated by Goethe47. Unity states that data collected through the Unity Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. Google Play Games data is processed according to Google's security and privacy practices. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
