These terms govern your use of StepGate.
Acceptance
By using StepGate, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Paid app
StepGate is sold as a paid Google Play app. It has no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app store. Payment, purchase records, taxes, and standard purchase refunds are handled through Google Play according to Google Play policies and applicable law.
What StepGate does
StepGate helps limit access to apps you choose and can restore access based on your physical activity.
User responsibilities
- Choose which apps to control.
- Maintain required permissions for app functionality.
- Use the app in compliance with local laws and platform rules.
No medical advice
StepGate is not a medical device or medical app. StepGate does not provide medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, medical condition, or addiction. Steps are used only to calculate access to selected apps.
Availability and disclaimer
StepGate is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation on every Android device or manufacturer firmware.
Refunds and support
Refund requests for paid app purchases are handled through Google Play where available. If Google Play directs you to the developer after the standard refund window, contact us and we will review the request according to applicable law and Google Play rules.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StepGate and its creators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from app use.
Changes
We may update the app or these terms over time. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
You may stop using StepGate at any time by uninstalling it. Access may be suspended if required by law or platform policies.
